TED Talk: The world's first AI legal assistant


ROSS, en "advokatrobot" baserad på IBM:s självlärande plattform Watson, har under året tagits i bruk av en rad affärsbyråer. Företagets grundare och VD Andrew Arruda höll ett TED-talk om hur maskininlärning kan bidra till att demokratisera juridiken vid årets upplaga av TED@IBM. ​



​Han tror att AI kommer bli "större än internet" och att tekniken kommer göra advokatbyråer mer kostnadseffektiva, men betonar verktyg som ROSS inte är något substitut för mänskligt förnuft:

- Human lawyers are at the centre of this. ROSS is not making judgment calls. AI is very powerful technology, but, it’s most effective when working in a team, säger Arruda.
